| A Couple More Minor Tweaks |

Well I still have a couple more minor tweaks to make on my layout. I've given up on the color for the border. Now that I've changed the background to black, the color of the boarder doesn't really go with the rest of the layout, but I don't want to remake it. Now I could change a text color somewhere to match or atleast be pretty close to it, but I just really don't want to. I like the text colors the way they are. I've decided the only changes I'm going to make for now is I need to make a minor tweak in the text coding for the links in the sidebar, they were black and don't show up until you hover the pointer on them. I've decided I'm going to change them to a pale gray that will show up against the black, but they will get a brighter color with the pointer hover. I like the effect of it going from dark to bright, but I do want the links to be able to be seen before hovering over them.
The other tweak is I need to find out how to make the user names of people on my friends page show up in a color other then black under their icons, so that I can see them without having to highlight them. If anyone knows how through the coding in my layout I can force a different color for the user names please let me know, it really bugs me to have to highlight a name in order to see who made the entry, but I don't want to have to go back to a different background color other then black to do it.
Anyway I should be done with the layout soon.

Ok, I lied, I'm still working on the layout. It's definately a work in progress until I can get it all completely tweaked to where I am satisfied with it. I changed the light gray that I took from the header to black because I totally love how the text really pops against it, not to mention the neon purple icons, but now the border color just doesn't go, and if I change all that, then the colors in the header just has nothing to do with the rest of it and doesn't go either. Plus there are other minor issues to tweak with it too. Maybe I'll get back to it tomorrow. I need a brake from it tonight because it's driving me crazy. I get one thing the way I like, but the rest doesn't go, so I change those things and end up with something I love, but the rest doesn't go. Urhgg! It's going to take some time before I'm really done with it, but I guess that's just OK. It's not like there's a deadline.
I think I've also pretty much decided that I'm going to make the journal friends only, but that's a work in progress as well.
Anyhow, tomorrow's another day.

Well I've updated my journal layout again and made a lot of changes to it. I had really wanted to completely change to a new coded layout format, but after a lot of searching I was unable to locate one that met all my needed criteria and that I could live with for a while. I'll keep looking, maybe next time I'll have one. I had really gotten tired of the dragon header, and was planning on using some type of photographic image rather then more artwork, but this dream artwork really caught my attention. I liked the idea of dreaming, imagination, looking to the future, looking to the stars, ect. So I'm pretty excited about this change for now. I think I've pretty much worked all the bugs of out it and made all the changes to the layout that I'm going to, although no promises, but I will probably be making some changes, updates, and additions as far as content and information is concerned very soon. Plus I need to start making some more frequent entries, but I guess I haven't felt that I've had much that I've wanted to say for a while. I am also toying with the idea of making the journal friends only. Not that I'm trying to be exclusive or anything, but I'd like to know who comes in and reads it and it's the best way I can think of to keep track of that. Most of my entries are already actually friends or even family only, so if you aren't in my friends list you don't see everything thats really here. Only certain things I allow to be completely public, but I'm already having second thoughts about keeping those public. Besides I figure maybe some of those who want to read my journal request to be added to keep reading it might actually friend it back. I've been wanting to increase my mutual friends or friends of lists. I guess a person would like to think that a few people might actually be interested in what they think or have to say. I guess it would help if I was a bit more active in my journal and posted entries worth reading. Shame on me for slacking.
Anyway I'll post a real entry soon. Just wanted to acknowledge that I made some changes.
